About Us – Our Story & Journey

The story of Taylor Company began November 2020, right in the heart of Bramhall Village Square—and right in the middle of a Covid‑19 lockdown. After working in the foot health industry for 16 years, specialising in both footwear and clinical foot care, I decided it was time to put my experience into a business of my own.

With a leap of faith, a detailed business plan was submitted to the British Business Bank, and shortly afterwards the approval and funding arrived. It was an exciting, nerve‑racking time made even more challenging by repeated lockdown closures and reopening's.

The business originally launched under the name FC‑BY‑DT, but as the company grew, the brand evolved. Just 14 months later, the name was simplified to Foot Care, making it clearer, stronger, and more accessible to the community we were proudly serving.

Growing Into Something Bigger

Fast‑forward five years, and what began as a single foot care clinic has grown into a thriving group employing thirteen people across two stores. This progress is thanks to a hardworking, passionate, and diverse team—past and present—and more late nights and early mornings than we can count.

Today, the Taylor Organisation Group includes:

• FOOT CARE – clinical services in podiatry, chiropody and foot health, plus footwear, body care, and our expanding off‑chemist range

• The Ivy & Tonic – experiences, wellbeing, and lifestyle

• GRIND – our coffee, tea, and light‑lunch offering

We remain a trusted name in foot health, but our vision has expanded far beyond its original roots.

Taylor Organisation Ltd is a single UK‑registered limited company that oversees several branded divisions operating across wellbeing, healthcare, lifestyle, hospitality and retail. While each division has its own identity and customer‑facing brand, they all operate under one incorporated legal entity: Taylor Organisation Ltd.

Our Structure

UK corporate guidance confirms that a limited company may operate multiple trading names as part of a unified legal entity. These names are used for branding and commercial clarity but do not create separate companies. They remain part of the same organisation and share the same statutory obligations, financial reporting, and regulatory responsibilities. [

A “group of companies” under UK law typically exists only where a parent (holding) company legally owns one or more separate subsidiary companies. This structure is used primarily to create clear legal separation between each company. 

Taylor Organisation Ltd does not currently operate a parent/subsidiary structure. Instead, all brands and services operate as trading names of one incorporated entity. This approach remains compliant, efficient, and appropriate for the integrated nature of our services.
