What We Can Treat ✔ Verruca (Plantar Wart) Verrucae are common in children and often picked up from swimming pools or changing rooms. During treatment we will: Examine the area Explain what a verruca is and how it behaves Recommend the most suitable treatment option for your child Offer advice on how to prevent spreading it to others Treatments are gentle and tailored to each child’s comfort level. ✔ Corns Though less common in children, corns can form due to pressure from shoes or activity. Your practitioner will: Carefully remove or reduce the corn Check for any underlying causes Give advice on footwear and foot care to prevent recurrence Treatment is quick and usually painless. ✔ Ingrowing Toenails Ingrowing toenails can be very uncomfortable and may lead to infection if not treated early. We will: Examine the toenail and surrounding skin Gently ease the nail edge if possible Provide safe trimming advice and show you how to care for the area at home Recommend further treatment if needed In most cases, early intervention prevents more serious problems.
